Face-to-Face Engagement with Pediatricians
Providing face-to-face outreach to pediatric physicians by reaching them at their offices or through professional organizations
Example
- The Tennessee Act Early State Team spoke to physicians face-to-face during their regular work hours or through professional organizations. Approximately 12 offices were visited in-person for everything from brief discussions to larger Q&A sessions.
- Informational packets were distributed during the annual American Academy of Pediatrics local chapter meeting. The packets included sample materials, information on how to order or print “Learn the Signs. Act Early.” materials, and how to access CDC’s Autism Case Training Curriculum for CME and MOC credit.
