Distribute Amazing Me – It’s Busy Being 3! to Pediatric Clinics
Distributing copies of Amazing Me to pediatric offices nationwide through a partnership with Reach Out and Read (ROR).
Example
- In partnership with Lysol/Reckitt Benckiser and ROR, Amazing Me was printed and distributed to parents of three-year-old children in pediatric clinics nationwide. Lysol supplied the funds for printing 100,000 copies of Amazing Me, and 300 copies of the book were sent to each of 250 pediatric offices in the ROR network. Books were sent to pediatric offices following an email introduction to the book by ROR leadership.
Evidence
- A follow-up assessment of ROR’s distribution efforts confirmed that practices received and distributed the books to parents and wanted to continue doing so after the dissemination period ended. Clinics distributed Amazing Me as they do other ROR books and distribution fit well into clinics’ operations. In a survey of parents who received Amazing Me, parents and their children liked the book and enjoyed receiving the book from their child’s doctor. Most parents felt that Amazing Me raised their awareness about developmental milestones and encouraged them to monitor their child’s development.
