CDC OHE Blog Comment Policy

OMHHE

Guidelines

Your comments must relate to CDC’s Office of Health Equity (OHE) posts. This is not the place to talk about personal issues, political beliefs, or discuss any other non-related business issues. Your comments must relate to the topic at hand and have something to do with the topic in the original post.

This is a moderated blog — we will review all comments before posting them. We expect that participants will treat each other with respect. We will not post comments that contain vulgar language, personal attacks of any kind, or offensive terms that target specific individuals or groups. We will not post comments that are clearly off-topic, that promote services or products, or that infringe on copyrights. Comments that make unsupported accusations will also not be posted. We will not publish any comments that contain personal identifying or private medical information about a third party, especially information restricted from release under the Privacy Act or the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). We cannot answer any medical questions. Only your health care provider can answer questions about your health.

We recognize that the Web is a 24/7 medium, and your comments are welcome at any time. However, given the need to manage federal resources, comments will be monitored during regular business hours Monday through Friday. Comments submitted after hours or on weekends will be read and posted as early as possible. While we welcome your comments, we will not respond to every question or comment.
