Robert J. Geller, MD

Dr. Robert Geller currently serves as Medical Director of the Georgia Poison Center, as the Division Director for General Pediatrics of Emory University Department of Pediatrics at its Grady Health System campus, and as Director of the Emory Southeast Pediatric Environmental Health Specialty Unit. After graduating from Boston University School of Medicine, Dr. Geller pursued his residency and Chief Residency in Pediatrics at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, followed by a fellowship in Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics and the Sub-board in Medical Toxicology. He has served as the Medical Director of the Georgia Poison Center since 1988 and has been active in the American Association of Poison Control Centers for many years. Dr. Geller is the author of more than 50 publications and is one of the editors of “Safe and Healthy School Environments.”
