Currently as principal and founder of Healthcare Accreditation Resources LLC, Pam partners with dental and medical healthcare professionals to assist and provide them with the tools necessary to meet federal, state or BORID requirements. Her more than 20 years of expertise in OSHA regulatory compliance, CDC Infection Prevention and Control, and HIPAA standards helps to position practices to address, achieve and maintain the difficult challenges and changes as mandated by the agencies.
Pam earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Northeastern University, Boston, MA and completed her affiliated clinical internship at the New England Deaconess Hospital, Boston, MA. Pam is certified at the master level as a Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP) and also board certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP. She has authored several Infection Prevention and Control and OSHA articles for healthcare journals and publications.
Pam volunteers as an active member of the Board of Directors of HONOReform (Hepatitis Outbreak National Organization for Reform). Pam also serves as their scientific advisor and member of the Safe Injections Policy Task Force. She is also a frequent invited guest speaker for healthcare association meetings and national conferences which has most recently included Lifespan PSO, RI; American Association for Orthodontists (AAO), Massachusetts Dental Society, the Association for Dermatology Administrators and Managers (ADAM), New England Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (NESGNA), Patterson Dental Co, New England Dental Office Managers (NEDOM) and presented a webinar, “Achieving OSHA Sharps Safety Compliance,” through the International Healthcare Worker Safety Center of the University of Virginia.
