Dr. Engel, MD graduated from Cornell University Medical College in 2002. He completed an internal medicine internship at The Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital followed by an anesthesiology residency and pain medicine fellowship at The University of Pennsylvania Hospital. He currently practices pain management with Continental Anesthesia in Chicago. As a member of the International Spine Intervention Society, he serves as vice chair of the Standards Division and chairs the Patient Safety Committee.
