Frosty the Worker,
Is a jolly happy soul,
With his big warm boots and his warm-up breaks,
The cold cannot take its toll. ❄

Hypothermia and chilblains,
May be fairy tales one day,
Cuz’ with training and prevention,
Frostbite can be kept at bay.❄

It really isn’t magic when,
A warm wool hat is worn,
For with proper gear there is no fear,
When an employer plan is formed.❄

Oh, Frosty the Worker,
We’ll keep you warm when you’re outside,
Take breaks and layer your clothing,
And we’re sure that you will thrive.❄ ❄ ❄

Stay warm and safe this holiday season and all winter long!

Well, it’s not quite winter here, quite the opposite in fact. But in the spirit of international engagement and the holiday season, here’s a clever little safety poem for those unfortunates enough to work out in the sun.

    I love a SunSmart country,

    Where everyone wears hats

    And applies their sunscreen,

    With shady spots for chats.

    I love wrap-around sunglasses,

And clothing that covers people’s skin,

I love how we take UV seriously,

    Because you are worth protecting!

Andrew, your SunSmart country safety poem is a brilliant counterpart to Frosty the Worker! While some of us are bundling up for the cold, your words remind us to stay sun-savvy in warmer climates. It’s all about looking out for each other, whether under the winter snow or the bright sunshine. Happy and safe holidays to everyone, no matter the weather! 🌞❄️
