Highlights include:<\/p>\n<p><u>Sunday, June 30<\/u><\/p>\n<p>8:00 a.m. \u2013 9:15 a.m. (Halls A-B, Level 100)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The session, The Experience of Physicians Who Use Telemedicine Technology: United States, 2021, will provide an overview of how telemedicine use affected office-based physicians\u2019 ability to deliver quality care based on data from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/nchs\/nehrs\/about.htm\">National Electronic Health Records Survey<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>8:00 a.m. \u2013 9:15 a.m. (Halls A-B, Level 100)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A poster presentation on data from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/nchs\/nhis\/index.htm\">National Health Interview Survey<\/a> describes the impact of prescription medication costs for adults with multiple chronic conditions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>3:30 p.m. \u2013 4:45 p.m. (Rooms 324-326, Level 300)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Data Capacity to Achieve Health Equity: New Office of the Secretary Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Trust Fund (OS-PCORTF)-funded Data Products panel will highlight projects funded by OS-PCORTF, including work done by NCHS through data linkages. The session aims to disseminate new datasets and tools produced to enable effective and efficient research to advance health equity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Monday, July 1<\/u><\/p>\n<p>9:30 a.m. \u2013 10:45 a.m. (Halls A-B, Level 100)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A poster presentation on the findings from the National Health Interview Survey -Teen 2021-2022 on the Health Care Transition Planning Among Teenagers with and without a Developmental Disability, provides the first known estimates of Healthcare Transition (HCT) planning based on self-reported data from a population of nationally representative teenagers with and without a current developmental disability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>3:30 p.m. \u2013 4:45 p.m. (Room 315, Level 300)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The session, Maternal Health Data at the National Center for Health Statistics, will provide an overview of NCHS data systems (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/nchs\/nvss\/\">National Vital Statistics System,\u00a0<\/a>the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/nchs\/nsfg\/\">National Survey of Family Growth<\/a>, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/nchs\/dhcs\/index.htm\">National Health Care Surveys<\/a>) that can be used to examine trends, patterns, and characteristics of important maternal health indicators.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Those attending the Academy Health Annual Research Meeting can also find researchers and representatives from the National Center for Health Statistics in the Exhibit Hall throughout the event.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NCHS has several presentations and poster sessions at the 2024 Academy Health Annual Research Meeting from June 29 to July 2 at the Baltimore Convention Center.
