NHIS data users can have access to these very timely estimates, reports, and microdata files without having to wait for the release of the final annual NHIS microdata files by selected demographic characteristics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the ER reports presents estimates of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/nchs\/data\/nhis\/earlyrelease\/insur202111.pdf\">health insurance <\/a>coverage for the civilian noninstitutionalized U.S. population based on data from the January through June 2021 National Health Interview Survey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.cdc.gov\/nchs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/36\/2022\/11\/nhis202111_fig1.png?w=540\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6211\" width=\"350\" height=\"257\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The ER program released <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/nchs\/data\/nhis\/earlyrelease\/wireless202111.pdf\">preliminary estimates <\/a>of the percentages of adults and children living in homes with only wireless telephones (also known as cellular telephones, cell phones, or mobile phones).
