{"id":3004,"date":"2015-12-01T16:35:06","date_gmt":"2015-12-01T19:35:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nchstats.com\/?p=3004"},"modified":"2015-12-01T16:35:06","modified_gmt":"2015-12-01T19:35:06","slug":"number-of-american-homes-with-wireless-only-telephones-continues-to-grow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.cdc.gov\/nchs\/2015\/12\/01\/3004\/","title":{"rendered":"Number of American Homes with Wireless Only Telephones Continues to Grow"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/nchs\/data\/nhis\/earlyrelease\/wireless201512.pdf\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/nceh\/radiation\/local\/b\/images\/cellphone_324x182px.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"208\" height=\"117\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>NCHS has released a new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/nchs\/data\/nhis\/earlyrelease\/wireless201512.pdf\">report<\/a> with data from the\u00a0National Health Interview Survey\u00a0Early Release Program looking at selected estimates of telephone coverage for the civilian noninstitutionalized U.S. population<\/p>\n<p>The estimates use <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/nchs\/data\/nhis\/earlyrelease\/wireless201512.pdf\">January\u2013June 2015 <\/a>data and are based on in-person interviews that are conducted throughout the year to collect information on health status, health-related behaviors, and health care access and utilization.
