Gina Pugliese is the Vice President of the Safety Institute, Premier healthcare alliance and adjunct faculty, University of Illinois School of Public Health and Rush University College of Nursing. Pugliese is Senior Associate Editor of Infection Control and Hospital Epidemiology and a member of the faculty of the international Healthcare Epidemiology Training Program, co-sponsored by the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). She is the author of more than 140 publications and frequent lecturer on patient, worker and environmental safety and infection prevention.
