Jimee Hwang received her AB in Biophysics from Dartmouth College and MD at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She went on to complete an internal medicine residency at University of California San Francisco. Following residency, she worked as a clinical instructor for UCSF. She has gone on to receive a diploma in tropical medicine and hygiene at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a Master’s in Public Health at University of California Berkeley. She currently works at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the Malaria Branch as part of the Epidemic Intelligence Service program, a 2-year training fellowship, and is a member of the United States Public Health Service.
